The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee was my first show mixing line-by-line at NMU. The show consisted of 9 actors with mics, 1 mic for the volunteers, MTI tracks, and was mixed on a Behringer X32. I found this show as a nice challenge for my first time mixing line-by-line due to the fast paced, sometimes chaotic nature of the musical. This show really opened my eyes to how much focus is required to not miss a pick up or be late and how easily distracted you can become.
